2. Overview
This website does not set any cookies of its own and uses no third-party tracking or analytics services; we count page views ourselves without cookies (see section 7). Fonts are loaded from our own server, so no data is sent to third parties for this purpose. No videos or social media plugins are embedded. A Google Maps map is embedded on the home page and the contact page (see section 6). Links to Google Maps or Facebook open those websites only when you click them.
3. Hosting
This website is hosted by Netlify, Inc., 512 2nd Street, Suite 200, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When you visit the website, the hosting provider processes technically necessary data (IP address, date and time, requested page and browser information) in server logs to deliver the website securely and reliably. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Transfers to the USA are based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or EU standard contractual clauses. A data processing agreement is in place with the hosting provider.
4. Contact form, email and phone
If you contact us using the contact form, by email or by phone, we process your details (name, contact information and message) solely to handle your enquiry and prepare a quote. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) and your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. Form data is transmitted and stored through our hosting provider’s form service. We delete the data when it is no longer needed for processing and no statutory retention obligations apply.
5. Live chat
You can contact us through the chat on our website. Your messages, the page you visited and the time are processed only when you send a message. Messages are stored by our hosting provider Netlify and forwarded to our team via Telegram (Telegram Messenger Inc., Dubai, United Arab Emirates) so that we can reply promptly. Telegram also processes data outside the EU. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (enquiries about our services) and your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR, given by sending the message. Please do not send sensitive data through the chat.
To keep your conversation available when you navigate between pages, your browser stores a random chat identifier in local storage. This is strictly necessary for the chat function you requested (section 25(2)(2) TDDDG). No cookies are set. To prevent abuse, a pseudonymised hash of your IP address is stored for up to 24 hours. Chat histories are automatically deleted 30 days after the last message.
If you send a photo, it is reduced in size in your browser and sent directly to Telegram. It is not stored on our website.
6. Google Maps
A map from the Google Maps service (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) is embedded on our home page and contact page to make it easier for you to find us. When you open these pages, your browser connects to Google servers. In particular, your IP address and the page you are viewing are transmitted to Google, and Google may set cookies or use similar technologies. Data may be transferred to the USA; this takes place on the basis of the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in presenting our location in an easy-to-find way (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We have no influence on how Google processes the data.
The “Get directions” button is a simple link. Google Maps opens in a new window or in the app only after you click it. Google privacy policy
7. Visitor statistics without cookies
To see which pages are read and how often contact links are clicked or enquiries are sent, we count this ourselves on our server at Netlify. When a page is opened, the phone number, email address or WhatsApp is clicked, the form is submitted or a chat is started, only the type of event and the page are stored. We do not store your IP address, cookies, browser data or any identifier for this, so no personal reference is created. The connection data that arises technically is processed only by our hosting provider, as described in section 3. The events are combined into daily totals and then deleted. If “Do Not Track” or “Global Privacy Control” is enabled in your browser, nothing is counted. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in improving our services (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
8. Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access to your stored data (Article 15 GDPR)
- Rectification (Article 16 GDPR) and erasure (Article 17 GDPR)
- Restriction of processing (Article 18 GDPR)
- Data portability (Article 20 GDPR)
- Objection to processing (Article 21 GDPR)
- Withdrawal of consent for future processing (Article 7(3) GDPR)
You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, for example the Saxon Commissioner for Data Protection and Transparency.
9. SSL/TLS encryption
This website uses an encrypted connection, indicated by “https://” in your browser’s address bar.
